Low-emission zones in the Czech Republic
The Czech Ministry of the Environment’s published overview does not list any declared low-emission zone. Parking zones, pedestrian areas and local traffic bans are different restrictions.
Cities with low-emission zones
No low-emission zone has been declared in the Czech Republic in the published overview. Prague and Brno are therefore not listed as cities with an active LEZ.
No national sticker requirement for a visit
Do not buy a German or French emissions sticker solely to drive into Prague or Brno. These stickers belong to other countries’ schemes.
The absence of a declared LEZ does not permit entry into pedestrian streets, restricted delivery areas or roads with weight or other traffic limits.
Check your exact destination
A parking permit is not an emissions-zone permit, and local traffic restrictions can apply to a new or electric vehicle too. Confirm the approach to your hotel or car park and observe signs.
Before a future visit, check whether the official overview or local rules have changed. A legal framework allowing a municipality to introduce a zone is not proof that it has actually done so.
